Immanuel
Isa 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
God smiled on us from upon high
The perfect plan with the perfect child
He saw what all the world did need
And selflessly gave it all to thee
He showed us of His sacrifice
Through Abraham, Isaac that awesome price
He made us know so perfectly true
What he would bestow on me and you
A gift was made above all gifts
To save us from our humanly slips
To right our wrongs and wipe it clean
As white as snow we will be seen
Father,
what love you have for your children here
We have it shone throughout the year
The veil was rent from top to bottom
The nearness of YOU we cannot fathom
Immanuel, God with us all
May the lost be found and never fall
This gift You gave is precious still
Pray you never forget, for I never will
